The Bommer Lab's aim is to reveal novel metabolic mechanisms underlying the development of human diseases ranging from cancer to neurodegeneration.
To carry out its research and make promising discoveries, the Institute employs 320 people of over 40 different nationalities, both young doctoral students and world-renowned experts in their field.
Many different professions are involved. Alongside the researchers, you'll find IT specialists, administrative staff, engineers, communicators, technicians, fundraisers, accountants, etc., all contributing to our mission: Advancing knowledge, transforming health care.
